Exo-Cubic has now been selected to implement a new solution for tyre recycling in India, where the challenges of redundant tyre management are significant.
India currently dumps 60-70 million end of life tyres annually into the market that cause major environmental damage – being extremely harmful and representing an equivalent of 600,000 – 700,000 tons of tyre per annum.
By comparison, the UK volume is circa 37 million end of life tyres annually the equivalent of 350,000 – 370,000 tons of tyre per annum giving a sense of the opportunity and scale.
Working with key partners Exo-Cubic is now implementing the first agreed trial stage to demonstrate the levels of fine gradient that the solution is capable of delivering.
Moving forward there is whole-hearted support for the strategic and operational Exo-Cubic implementation which will be transformational for the region in terms of tyre recycling.
In parallel this is now leading to further engagement and potential installation with other regions such as Kuwait who have identified Exo-Cubic as a significant solution for change.
